Today’s episode.
0:27
We have Casey Stevens, which I’m really excited about Casey because Casey reached out to me to be on this podcast and I saw what she was doing and I was like, oh my goodness, yes, we have to have you on this podcast.
0:40
So, thank you so much for reaching out.
0:42
I would love to have Casey introduce herself.
0:45
So Casey, would you like to introduce yourself?
0:47
Yes.
0:47
So I have a virtual psychology practice in Seattle, which is, and I work with people all over the world really.
0:55
So it’s really people who are aligned and, you know, want to work in this more conscious way.
0:59
And of course, you know, seeing the beautiful work you do really resonated.
1:03
And I just want to know lovely people who are doing this work in this wonderful way and provide resources for my community to have more connections and people that might do things similarly or a little differently.
1:16
And so, so that’s how I work.
1:19
Yeah, I’ve kind of often talk about it as you know, kind of clinically trained but mystically guided and so working in this spiritual way.
1:26
But providing this foundation of Western framework of psychology that I come from and practice and just love to help people in this holistic way to live their optimal lives.
1:36
So much of what you just said, I’m like so excited to dive into, can we talk about what a spiritual psychology practice?
1:44
Even?
1:44
What is that?
1:45
How do you define that?
1:46
Because I feel like, you know, mixing the two worlds is so special and so necessary in so many different ways, but can you define what that is or how your practice shows up for people or how you support people?
1:58
Yeah.
1:58
Well, I mean, kind of the foundation of it, right?
2:01
Is kind of training in this Western psychology framework, right?
2:04
That is psychotherapy or you know, psychology therapy, whatever you want to call that.
2:09
And so it’s just really understanding like the patterns in human behaviors.
2:12
And I think there’s something really grounded and important about having a foundational understanding of that and coming from that framework that you know, is, is, you know, there’s some psychoeducation around understanding just you know, how, how we work and as this human species, right in our psyches and, and incorporating.
2:30
But I, I have found in my own experience, even in my own training just as wonderful as that was, that it was limited, right?
2:38
That there was kind of a ceiling that, that we would reach where we weren’t really often incorporating the whole self, right?
2:46
The spiritual self, the conscious self, it it just felt limited.
2:49
Like, you know, there needed to be more of an approach that would incorporate the integral self and and our spiritual selves and our energetic selves and all of that.
2:59
And so not again that there aren’t psychology practices that do that and modalities that tend to it.
3:05
But I I just feel like there’s a much more comprehensive integral approach that would include all of those things and approach, you know, it’s so often in psychology, right, we’re trained to diagnose and you know, pathologize and there’s so much of that.
3:20
And so for me, I just like to separate from, separate away from that as much as possible because there’s much of it that I think is really valuable.
3:27
And I think that there is this limitation that can come in because I think anytime anything is expressing in our life, it’s just showing us how there’s something out of balance, it’s seeking to find more harmony inside ourselves.
3:39
And they’re really just messages that we could get stuck focusing on the pathology of that and a diagnosis or whatever kind of Western treatment would like us to move to.
3:50
And I, you know, there’s value for that for a lot of people.
3:53
And, you know, typically if you’re working with me though, you want to stretch a little bit beyond that and try to get to the root of what’s out of balance.
4:02
And why is it that if there is something of dis ease in my life, how do I identify what that is and heal it in a more holistic, comprehensive, sustainable way?
4:13
Right?
4:13
So that there is no label or pathology around that, but rather just an invitation to our humanness and all of the, you know, beautiful, intelligent wisdom of our mind, body, spirit, right?
4:25
That want to give us the messages that they’re that, that, you know, some part of us is longing to be healed and more in harmony.
4:33
So good.
4:34
Wow, so much of what you said.
4:35
And I want to bring it back to this.
4:36
But I would, would love to know too, like see you what brought you to wanting to do psychology, you know what and what was started the plant the seed there and then what was the transition?
4:46
I know you said that you, there are some limits that you noticed.
4:47
But what was it for you that you were like?
4:49
Hm, there’s something more here.
4:51
What was that moment, like, too.
4:53
Oh, well, I wouldn’t say it was one moment.
4:54
It was really kind of like, existential crisis happened in my life, you know, 15 years ago or so where I just like everything that I thought that I knew all of the constructs and systems that I had come to relationship may, you know, I mean, just everything that I had come to believe and know as my identity were crumbling in a way, which I think was really of service to me at the time.
5:17
I didn’t, didn’t feel like it at the time, but all the those contracts were kind of falling away, they were crumbling and I had to look at them and evaluate just, you know, what is serving me, how is, who am I right, looking at all of that.
5:32
And so how I did that right is I eventually not right away.
5:36
I, you know, took a few hard knocks along the way and eventually I was like, you know, I really, this is over my head.
5:42
I need some help.
5:43
I need some support with this.
5:44
So I found a beautiful therapist and she was so wonderful because she practiced in these, you know, I mean, she, she came from a clinical framework as well, which I liked because I’m a real critical thinker too.
5:55
So I want to understand and kind of get into the meat and potatoes of everything.
5:59
And I, she kind of practiced in these real witchy ways, right?
6:04
Where she incorporated the spiritual self, where she would talk about visions and just different things and she would incorporate, you know, so many, just wonderful tricks and tools that she had that were just her own magic that I resonated so deeply.
6:16
And I thought, you know, if, if we were just talking about this, if we were just doing this, you know, talk therapy, psychotherapy modality, that would be good.
6:25
But it wouldn’t be as special and as magical as it was by incorporating all this like spiritual self.
6:31
That was always a big part of me.
6:33
But I just kind of hadn’t, you know, celebrated it as much.
6:37
I hadn’t put as much attention or focus on it.
6:39
But, you know, in times when we really need to connect to our spiritual selves, I just found that it’s like, ok, this is wonderful and it’s a good part of it and it might even be the body of it.
6:50
But really to kind of fill in what was really took me over the edge, right, in a meaningful way was this spiritual way that she practiced.
6:59
And so it was during that time when again, everything in my life was falling away career and everything, right?
7:05
I was like, I have to really figure out who I am and what I want to do and what my purpose is in a more meaningful way.
7:11
And so it was during that kind of crisis in my life at that time of real crisis that I kind of looked back and was able to, you know, go into this in a deeper way and just kind of decide this is what I want to do.
7:26
But I want to do it in this meaningful way where I can practice in, in a similar way that she does.
7:31
But of course, I want to bring my own medicine.
7:32
So I went back to school and I incorporated all of these other elements as well.
7:36
So amazing.
7:37
And you keep talking about the spiritual self, what is the spiritual self or who, which part of that is that?
7:43
Well, I mean, I think it’s unique for all of us, but I think we are spiritual beings having a human experience.
7:49
And so it’s really this ephemeral part of us, right?
7:53
It’s tapping into the esoteric and the the eternal part of us that, that, you know, never can die, right?
7:59
I mean, this energy can’t ever be destroyed.
8:01
That is our own unique energy signature.
8:04
And that’s what really I think is at the source of it all that’s what carries through us and sometimes gets masked or hidden throughout life.
8:11
And, but ultimately, I think that on this, you know, spiritual journey that we’re having as humans, we’re trying to peel that away to get back to the purest form of that.
8:19
And then we do it all over again in my belief, right?
8:22
And and hopefully we’re getting wiser and better and more evolved as we go.
8:26
Thank you for defining that just because I feel like you hear that, you know, you’re like, ok, I’m going to practice more of my spiritual self.
8:32
I’m gonna tap in my spirituality.
8:34
Of course, I think it’s defined for every single person a little bit differently, but I would just wanted to clarify that.
8:39
And then earlier today, you said a little bit about like, you know, how things show up in your life could be an expression of something else that’s going on or what is the actual deeper root?
8:48
Do you have an example of what that has looked like for yourself or for like a client?
8:52
Oh gosh, I mean, so many it could be any, anything that’s out of center, out of your kind of like life is beautiful and I’m happy and I’m fully expressed, right?
9:03
As you would put it right if you’re showing up and having a lot of anxiety for me at that time, right?
9:08
I I don’t actually tend to be a very anxious person, but during that time in my life where I had marriage dissolving and a lot of just troubles in that way, I started having crazy levels of anxiety just as an example, right?
9:23
But I think any time that is happening and it, and it, you know, it’s not like I didn’t understand what it was about or why I was feeling but I just hadn’t like, ever fully experienced that in this way.
9:33
And so it was really, and I wasn’t all the way healed.
9:36
I mean, there was so much that I had to go through to express that.
9:40
But what I realized was that I needed to listen to what, what was causing me to feel anxious.
9:47
I had a lot of fear about the future, right?
9:49
Because everything was grumble.
9:51
And that’s typically what anxiety is.
9:52
It’s like this rapid energy.
9:54
My whole life was crumbling my future as I knew it.
9:56
And every construct that I believe I knew was was falling apart.
10:00
And so so yeah, it was a lot of fear about the future and the unknown for me at the time, which made a lot of sense because again, nothing was certain at the time.
10:09
And so it’s really listening to how is it that you’re out of about how can you greet that energy of this fear of the unknown and be with that rather than judging it or medicating it or, you know, pathologize in any way?
10:20
I’m really glad I actually went to my doctor at the time and I just was breaking down.
10:25
I was in tears when I saw just my family practice doctor who I didn’t even see that often.
10:30
And I happened to have one of my crying fits, you know, where I was super anxious and I’m just, you know, cried at the drop of a hat.
10:36
And I got in there and it wasn’t even for anything.
10:38
She was just kind of asking me how I was.
10:40
And what happened was I, you know, told her, hey, this whole thing is going on in my life and it all so uncertain.
10:46
And she said to me, and I will never forget because this is somebody different than my therapist.
10:50
By the way, she was just my, you know, family practice doctor and I’ll never forget what she said is she said, you know, I think you’re strong and I think you’re going to be ok and she didn’t know me that well.
11:00
I mean, I didn’t see her that often, but I will never forgot this.
11:03
I think you’re strong and I think you’ll be ok, come back to me happy to help you.
11:07
And I hadn’t asked for, you know, antidepressants or anything like that.
11:11
But she said we can, you know, do something about that, but I think you’re going to be ok.
11:16
And so if you need something, reach out to me, but I think you’re going to be ok and that just really meant the world to me.
11:22
Not again that there’s any indictment I have clients who take, you know, medications.
11:25
There’s no indictment on that at all.
11:27
But what she did was she gave me my power in that moment to really trust that, that I, I had this sources.
11:35
I just had to listen to what was going on.
11:36
There’s nothing wrong with the fact that I was crying.
11:39
I just really need to listen to Alan, you know, the ways that I was in this and that I was crying at a drop of a hat.
11:45
I just really need to be with that energy so I could transform and transition through that in that moment where you were getting your power back.
11:53
So how can someone find their power again?
11:55
Because I think when we’re in those moments of life, right?
11:58
Where we’re like anxious life is chaotic, everything’s like it’s falling down like it feels like you can’t grab on to anything, right?
12:04
It feels like everything is falling through your fingertips and you know, so many parts within us want to reach and grab out and be like this is the answer, this is the answer something, something give me some sense of safety.
12:15
But it sounds like in that moment, she reminded you that you had some sense of safety within yourself and that gave you that power.
12:21
So how can someone find that power within themselves to feel safe in the moment, to be with whatever is happening to them in the middle of the chaos?
12:31
I mean, I really think you have to listen, you know, try to explore what that, how that would be represented, listen to the messages and what are coming through, right?
12:41
I just needed to be reminded, right?
12:42
That I had that and I often find when I’m working with people, I don’t know what you find but that it literally is a switch, right?
12:50
If somehow we’re feeling victimized or disempowered in some way, which to me, I like in those, in, in a very similar camp just to remember that it’s already in you.
12:59
It’s not that you’re becoming something that, you know, you have to reach for something that doesn’t exist.
13:06
You might have been separated from that or felt disconnected from that internal part of you, but it’s already in you.
13:11
And so just remembering, well, what is that?
13:14
Right?
13:14
I mean, that was just a reminder like, OK, yeah, I am strong, I am powerful, right?
13:19
I am so I can get through this.
13:21
So it just flips on that easily and then we can be with that, right?
13:25
And then approach everything.
13:26
It doesn’t change all the problems, right?
13:28
I mean, it doesn’t mean that those things just go away like that.
13:30
But if we approach them from a more empowered stance, then it’s a mindset.
13:35
Right.
13:36
Right.
13:36
It’s a way of it’s an orientation or a way that we can approach any situation that if we’re empowered in that approach, well, then we can’t lose, right?
13:46
Even if we don’t win, we can’t lose because we’ll see the opportunity or the growth that can come from that.
13:52
So yeah, so beautifully said, yeah, it’s just, I mean, it’s literally like a switch, you can flip it at any moment.
13:57
In yourself with anyone, you can, you know, set those reminders anytime that we need them.
14:02
But just I think coming from that empowered, you know, where we are can be fully expressed right in, in our true self and start letting those powerful, creative, innovative, you know, parts come up with solutions, right?
14:16
Then we’ll, we’ll, you know, do better.
14:19
Yeah.
14:19
And so in that, I feel like the question that I get a lot from people or the question that people come up against is like, how do I know this part of me is my intuition that’s guiding me in the right direction.
14:30
And how do I know this part of me is, is not my intuition.
14:33
So like how do you differentiate between like this is a supportive empowering decision for me?
14:39
I think when you’re also talking to that energy behind like I’ve got me, I can do this, I can figure it out.
14:46
It’s like almost like the grounded tree, right?
14:48
And then there’s like that next step of now you can get caught up in like, well, which path do I take?
14:54
What is the thing for me?
14:55
Which choice do I listen to?
14:56
With which voice within me do I listen to?
15:00
I would say always flow, right?
15:02
So the path to take is always going to flow.
15:04
If there’s resistance happening in you or around you, there’s usually a message in that, that it’s not, you know, the most vital path that you could take.
15:13
And so really listening to where flow is in your life, like what is come is easy and then feels good, right?
15:20
Flow isn’t just like, OK, well, that’s the easy thing to do.
15:23
And then it really feels like what actually really lights you up and helps you feel good in all layers of your being, even if that’s for a moment, right?
15:30
It’s like, OK, well, I made this decision and I also think choice and decision really help us to connect to our power, right?
15:37
So if I listen to that and I choose to follow this path and I just noticed, right, it’s like without indictment that OK, did that feel better or worse?
15:45
And so we can always make decision from that, but I would say it’s also like notice if the voice is coming through in an urgent way in an anxious way in a dis regulated way in some form, usually that’s fear that’s driving you.
15:59
And you know, there’s so many subtle, you know, fearful parts.
16:02
It’s like if fear is driving it, well, then probably it’s not going to take you on the right path.
16:06
It’s probably gonna do the opposite and take you away from what kind of the righteous path for you is.
16:12
And so it’s listening to what any of that like if it’s frenetic, if it’s urgent, if it’s chaotic, chaotic is another good way to kind of tune into that energy.
16:23
If it feels ok.
16:25
Well, I got to do that, you know, like, any way or I feel really pressured or really stressed to do it.
16:29
That’s probably too chaotic.
16:31
It’s not going to flow.
16:32
Whereas I think of intuition is much more quiet.
16:34
It’s still, it’s consistent, it’s steady.
16:37
Even if it’s taking you on the harder path or the, you know, like, I mean, for me there was so much of that it was like, oh, I’ve got to leave this marriage.
16:44
Oh, I’ve got to go back to school.
16:46
Oh, I’ve got to take out a bunch of student loans.
16:48
Oh, I’ve gotta, you know, like they’re not, it’s not necessarily easy, but it just felt right.
16:53
And then every step that I took in order to put conscious action to those things just flowed really easy.
17:00
Right?
17:01
Walks along the way.
17:03
I remember even there were a couple of schools that I was looking at.
17:06
This is a silly example, but it just popped into my head.
17:09
So maybe I meant to tell this story.
17:11
There were a couple of schools that I was looking at and I wanted to stay close because again, my life was still falling apart when I was going back to, to school for my psychology program.
17:20
And so I want to stay close because I still needed to be like in the city that I was in.
17:25
So it wasn’t like I was opening it up and, but there were several programs and researched all the options.
17:30
And I literally was up for like this interview at this one of the universities, right that I was going back to do again this clinical work in.
17:40
And I got close to the and I just was driving around, I was looking for parking and I just got this feeling like, no, like I’m not even going into this interview and I just, it was so, I mean, I was dressed for it.
17:53
I was literally there circling looking for parking and I was like, something just feels so not right about.
17:59
This is not where I meant to go.
18:01
And I just literally just listen to that.
18:05
I knew it and I drove off and, wow, and it just felt really true.
18:10
I didn’t feel bad about it.
18:11
I didn’t feel flaky about it.
18:13
It, I mean, I don’t, you know, I like I, it, well, I’m sure I communicated with them, you know, afterward, but I was just like, you know, I don’t need to go through this exercise because I’m getting such strong intuition.
18:23
The closer I get to this place that this is not where I meant to be.
18:27
And so it’s just really listening, like sometimes it’s making those hard decisions are really honoring like what, you know, and not like, I just have to listen to what I’m getting.
18:37
I don’t know why sometimes I’m getting, it’s just annoying.
18:39
Like I’m literally was almost like repelled as as I got closer and it was really hard to find parking and it wasn’t just, oh, that, it was hard to find parking.
18:47
So I was like, you know, I’m out of here.
18:49
Right.
18:50
But I was just like, I literally almost felt like this, this oppositional magnet, like, pushing me away, like repelling me from this place.
18:56
And I just thought I have to listen to this.
18:58
Whereas the other places that I looked and ultimately, the place that I went, I didn’t feel that it was just like, oh, this is ease.
19:04
Everything is, is flowing here.
19:06
It’s so amazing because I feel like so many of us can also get caught up in feeling that and ignoring that, right?
19:12
Like you can get up and like talking yourself into something or saying like, well, I should just give it a chance or do all these things.
19:18
And it’s, I mean, that can be anything in life, right?
19:21
Like, but we end up pushing ourselves or thinking that well, maybe this is me self sabotaging.
19:26
So I should just push myself through it.
19:28
But it sounds like there was like a very steady no in that and like almost like a full body.
19:35
No of like, no, that is not for me.
19:37
And also you talked so much to like making these choices and these decisions kind of build on top of each other and create this like, inner trust that you can believe over time is that fair totally.
19:49
And like, I love that word.
19:50
Trust.
19:51
It’s me trusting myself.
19:52
There was nothing bad about, you know, could have.
19:55
I mean, I know it’s a great school.
19:57
It’s a great school for a lot of people.
19:59
It just didn’t feel right for me and it felt so true.
20:01
It felt true for me.
20:03
It might not have felt true for somebody else, but it felt so true for me and I had to honor that and the more that I listened to that and it was just a very quiet, right.
20:11
I mean, it was a strong feeling.
20:13
I felt like, really even so much like, yeah, it’s not even like I’m not even actually going to go through the exercise of going in there and I just don’t even need to do that.
20:20
I already know that I don’t choose this place.
20:23
Right.
20:23
It’s not even a matter of them choosing me, like I just don’t choose it.
20:26
It’s not for me.
20:27
And so, and, and so of course you have to know yourself and I was really, you know, had been in this practice of, of listening right to those messages and that was such a gift, right?
20:39
To, to learn how to do that in a different way because it wasn’t like I was afraid go in or, oh, they might reject me or, oh, they might not choose me or it wasn’t anything like that.
20:47
Right.
20:47
I mean, I had already advanced right to this level that, you know, I was doing this interview, right.
20:53
But it was just like, no, it’s just, it’s not right.
20:55
It’s not right.
20:56
And I just know it in my bones and maybe I can’t even entirely articulate or explain what that is because I haven’t, you know, integrated myself into this, but some energy is telling me this isn’t right.
21:07
And so I just have to honor it and it felt right again, it could have been a different truth for someone else.
21:11
If someone had a issue with motivation or showing up or some of those things, it’s like, yeah, maybe the exercise of like challenging yourself to do that.
21:18
But that wasn’t it.
21:19
For me, it was really my growing edge that I needed to get better at was listening to that intuition and honoring that setting more boundaries, not pushing myself, we can come from any direction of that.
21:30
So again, that’s what I mean by really knowing yourself.
21:32
It’s like I didn’t need to learn to slog through the thing that wasn’t right for me.
21:36
I needed to learn to set a boundary around something that wasn’t right for me and I, I knew it but I, and I didn’t need to do it anyway just to make other people comfortable.
21:45
Yeah.
21:45
So in that, you know, you talked about meeting your own growing edge because for someone different, in a different situation, it could have been a different choice, right?
21:53
Or like the muscle or that thing that they had to learn or experience in that moment could be different?
21:58
Right?
21:59
So can you talk a little bit about that?
22:00
Like, how does someone know what is their growing edge in that moment when they’re faced with the decision or to do something different?
22:07
Right.
22:08
As I’ve experienced in my own journey from like being a lot in my masculine energy to finding my feminine flow.
22:14
I had to almost like swing completely.
22:17
I talk about this all the time like this pendulum swing of like I got to experience what it feels like to be in my feminine and learn all the beautiful things about being in my feminine.
22:26
And then there’s an integration process that happens that I get to discern when I’m in my feminine, when I’m in my masculine and I, but I had to come from that place of knowing when was my edge and when I needed to learn that lesson, not maybe not that lesson or that practice for myself.
22:43
So I can integrate and discern it.
22:45
So how can someone choose for themselves?
22:47
What’s their edge in that moment when they’re faced with a new decision or when they’re faced with on this growing path?
22:52
Because everyone’s journey is so different.
22:54
Everyone’s journey is different.
22:55
Yeah, I mean, I think it takes a lot of self exploration.
22:58
I don’t know that I could have, you know, come as my normal unconscious self before that, that I had done a lot of inner work and really gotten to know well, what are my patterns?
23:09
What are areas that I struggle?
23:10
What are areas that I internally, because a lot of us, that’s how it expresses like we internally suffer.
23:16
And that was definitely the case for me, some people kind of, I wasn’t, you know, so much in that way, but I was, it would internally kind of hold a lot of energy right?
23:26
More than I needed to.
23:28
So it was really learning that.
23:30
How do I really honor myself?
23:33
How can I be more self honoring in this life so that I can be again, fully expressed.
23:38
It took a lot of awareness and consciousness that work that had happened before, again in therapy, getting to know myself peeling back all those layers and noticing what these patterns and strategies were.
23:47
So I think it’s useful right?
23:48
To have a container of somebody who can help 100.
23:51
Yes.
23:51
Yeah.
23:51
Reflect those back to you if you’re not totally aware of what they are.
23:55
But, but definitely, I mean, there was an emergent pattern of me, of probably some self abandonment.
24:02
And so and and how are the ways that we abandon ourselves?
24:06
And for me that was probably putting other people before myself, you know, pleasing a little bit, you know, just that, that dynamic, right of self abandonment that would show up that I really needed to learn you know, I didn’t need to learn to, you know, put more and more I was so gifted at that, like to, you know, to an extreme, right?
24:25
I needed to actually be better at saying, you know, like I’m sorry, but no or whatever, it just really honor what was true for me so that my life could feel more congruent and more expressed.
24:36
And so I would say it took work ahead of time, right?
24:41
To really kind of get to know that pattern.
24:42
But then once you do, you actually notice, right, I’m sure you work with people in a similar way.
24:47
It’s like there’s actually pretty consistent patterns that are just repeating and recycling themselves in so many different ways.
24:53
And that’s what our or wounds or that’s what our compensatory strategies, that’s what our growing edge ends up being.
25:01
These are the patterns and the dynamics that are that nobody else is creating suffering in my life.
25:06
If, if I’m not fully expressed, I’m creating suffering because I’m still colluding with these patterns.
25:11
And so I have to learn, you know, to identify what are the, you know, usually there’s two or three main ones, right?
25:18
And how do I, I notice everywhere in my life that that surfaces in all the ways.
25:23
And so I just get better and better at showing up in that way, which for me, you know, speaking of, I mean, I probably came frankly from more of that feminine energy but like a wounded feminine around that at times.
25:35
Right.
25:35
Not all the time.
25:36
I wasn’t, you know, I mean, it wasn’t awful.
25:38
Right.
25:39
But, and then I overcorrected right into, as I emerged from that and as I went with my practice, you know, 10 years ago, like, I just as a single one, just all of it where I was, you know, shifted into my masculine.
25:54
And so then I had to work to shift back out of my masculine into my, you know, true kind of like embodied feminine after that.
26:00
But it’s all just an evolution, right?
26:02
And so the edge can, you know, shift and we just have to keep up and recognize it’s like I had to really experience and explore all corners of the room and that is still will still continue to happen.
26:14
I think for the rest of our lives, we just get better and better at it.
26:16
So you said, so that was so beautifully said.
26:19
So thank you so much.
26:21
I feel like, especially the part of like, how I think you said something along the lines of like, how we’re, we’re holding ourselves back internally and we’re not living a life fully expressed, which is so much about this podcast.
26:33
You know, it’s like, how can we learn to be with a part of ourselves, integrate those parts of ourselves so that we can feel more fully expressed in our lives, like really, really in aligned and all parts of us are coming through.
26:45
Not just part, not only just certain parts, right?
26:49
Only the parts of us that feel like they’re stuck in a pattern or only the parts of us that feel safe up to this degree, you know, like, what does it actually look like to bring our most authentic self to the table in our everyday lives?
27:00
Yeah.
27:01
Agreed.
27:01
Agreed.
27:02
And I think we need to really peel back so that we can because I mean, I love the name of your, which is kind of what I was drawn to it in the first place, very, very apropos, but that expression of self, right?
27:15
That is what our spiritual self is here to do is not to live this, you know, like watered down life but to be fully alive.
27:23
And so how do you get to this place of really being fully alive and enjoying this trip that we have, you know, in this body in this, in this lifetime?
27:34
How do you get to fully express yourself in that and have the most time possible to do that in the most alive and, and fully express way.
27:42
And I think that’s really what this work is that I want to help other people do because, you know, I know how meaningful it is when we live life in that way.
27:50
Yeah, there was one episode I had on here around New Year’s and I specifically asked, told everyone this is the only question that I would ask myself, I’ve been asking myself the last two years and I would say, ask yourself this question.
28:00
It’s like, what makes you feel the most alive in this world?
28:03
What are you doing that makes you feel the most alive and do that this year, do more of that this year.
28:08
And it’s so true that, that when you’re fully expressed, there’s so much aliveness I think about life.
28:14
And I’m like, you know, we came into this world, honestly, probably our most fullest express selves as little kids, as babies and things like that.
28:21
We saw the world.
28:23
And however we want to express ourselves.
28:24
I think kids are such a beautiful example of what’s available to us because a lot of them don’t think they say what’s on their mind.
28:31
They just do.
28:32
They’re like, I want that, I want this, I don’t want that and they’ll tell you, you know, until the world kind of gets a handle on them.
28:39
You know, life happens, experiences happen then and then I think about like, wow, ok.
28:43
So for the 1st 1 to 5 years, right?
28:46
I know there’s like specific years that we get integrated, 1 to 5 to 7 years, we’re doing that and we’re absorbing a lot of information and then there’s like seven to like 2530 that we’re starting to be not our political express and then we come back to ourselves and we’re like, we, I want to feel more connected.
29:04
I want to feel more alive.
29:05
I want to feel more expressed.
29:07
How do we do that?
29:08
And you’re doing that by helping people pull back the layers dive in deeper into the roots of where these things like what he does to expressing ourselves in the way that feels most aligned.
29:20
Yep.
29:21
I mean, couldn’t agree more.
29:22
I talk about that often as this pendulum, like our souls come in, I believe really pure and authentic, right?
29:28
And that just is, you know, I mean, science and psychology would say that’s like we’re sponges, right?
29:33
Our brains are in theta state from 1 to 7 or 0 to 7.
29:36
And so we’re just absorbing, but we’re all, we’re absorbing the good and the bad, right?
29:39
Like the, the sponge is not discriminating what is valuable and what’s not.
29:44
And so it absorbs all of it, right?
29:46
And that’s our parents wounded selves, you know, what’s un integrated in them, constructs from society, culture, you know, ancestral, all of that stuff, right?
29:55
And so what we do is part of that sponge part of that absorption that we’re making in our, in the state of state of our brains, right?
30:03
From 0 to 7 is really learning how the world works according to this ecosystem that we’re in, that’s really unique to each of us, right?
30:12
You know, based on all these variables and so what happens during those years is we learn how essential it is because we are literally dependent Children.
30:21
I’m just repeating what you said in, in different language, of course, but this is how I talk about it often.
30:26
Like we absorb that and connection is essential.
30:29
So we move away from authenticity towards connection and belonging because we have to belong, right?
30:34
If we are fully expressing ourselves in those years, and this is again, most unconscious parroting that happens.
30:41
Of course, there’s beautiful conscious parroting that can also happen.
30:44
But, but it’s less likely than, you know, not right?
30:48
That, that this other way with this other system would work.
30:50
So we move towards belonging and connection because as you know, dependent little Children who are dependent on these deities, who are our parents or our caregivers, we’re like, ok, well, in order to belong here, well, I’m going to absorb this, I’m going to see how you do that.
31:04
I’m gonna see what you like and I’m going to see what you don’t like and I’m going to absorb all of these tendencies, right?
31:08
So we move towards that and then again, we enter school systems and just how all of that works.
31:13
Friendships and you know, it just builds and builds and builds.
31:16
And so we’re still in this belonging phase.
31:18
And I think when we are really lucky, I often talk about this like the handful of teenagers that I work with.
31:24
It’s so cool because I’m like, man, they are starting to uni that patterning earlier then.
31:30
Oh, I think that’s such a gift.
31:33
Right.
31:33
I was in my late twenties before I ever started deprogramming all of that.
31:37
Right.
31:37
And I’m like, wow, these old tiny souls.
31:40
Right.
31:40
They are going to have so much more aliveness in them because they’re moving back on the pendulum again to authenticity.
31:47
And they are getting closer to this aliveness that they’re meant to experience where they’re not so afraid of not belonging or not having connection with anyone that we have, we can endure, right?
31:58
The anxiety or the stress of moving away from the way that it was prescribed to us in our family systems or other systems, right?
32:05
And we can become authentic and, and that is the soul’s journey in my mind and some people never seize that opportunity, right?
32:12
They get stuck in that belongingness or that connection rather than really then swinging back on the pendulum to this other place where it, where the soul really wants to go and is, is designed to take you in this life, which is to be fully expressed, to be fully authentic, right?
32:27
To be fully true to itself.
32:29
How does someone challenge the sense of belonging?
32:33
Right?
32:33
Because I think that’s one of the most difficult things when you start to find yourself, you know, I can definitely talk to you like as I’ve evolved as a human being, I didn’t fully find this until I was like, well, you know, the door, someone knocked on the door for me at like 26.
32:46
You know, I was very lucky in that way.
32:48
But at the same time, I feel like II I was still peeling so many layers.
32:52
And in the most recent years, as I evolved as a human, the hardest thing is letting go of friendships that no longer align or even just energetically, they start to just separate, you know, life changes, the communities that I step into what I like.
33:07
What I don’t like what I’m attracted, do not as much as if it’s so beautiful that I feel so much more authentically aligned and so connected and still met in so many different ways.
33:16
How can someone, you know, there’s still almost like this grieving process that happens of like, wait, I have this, this version of me that I knew for so many years brought me this life that looked in this way through these eyes as much as that is still, that was there.
33:33
And I want to go this way.
33:34
How does someone go from like I’m here and I have all these things, but I, I feel so called to go this way and work through that and navigate that because as you’re stepping into your fullest express self, as you’re stepping into your own personal evolution on this world or whatever that is, I feel like we just go through that in different cycles in different ways totally.
33:54
I mean, I’ve been through so many iterations and that resistance that will come up inside of us, right?
33:59
The the word that we use for it in psychology is differentiation, right?
34:02
It’s like this fear or this anxiety we stay with what we know because we’re afraid that if we become too different, like the distance that we could create between ourselves by changing or growing or evolving in our own, you know, unique expression of self that, that there is different degree of differentiation that we all experience.
34:22
And that could be again, based on, you know, programming, you would should be from families or churches or so many systems that are like, hey, we don’t want to get, we don’t want to let the like rope out too far on the buoy, right?
34:34
Like you got to keep it in close.
34:35
And so some people experience those real pressures and of course, some families, you know, honor more the individuation of self.
34:42
Again, I think we’re meant to become individuated in this way.
34:45
And so it’s really understanding that no matter how individuated your family system or friends system might celebrate you kind of stretching that there’s always going to be some degree of stress or anxiety that you would disconnect, right?
34:58
And so all going to feel that at a certain point and just it’s being aware of that and then noticing, you know what that point is, what that threshold is inside yourself.
35:06
And so again, paying attention and just listening to all of that.
35:09
But I’ve had so many iterations of that where, when I really realized, like, wow, I’m going on this, what seemed like a very wayward path, right?
35:19
And it often I was doing that in solitude, right?
35:23
And in isolation and, and self imposed, right?
35:26
Choosing to do that.
35:27
And really, and I was really fortunate, like in my family system that, you know, I can still be accepted, I wasn’t always as well understood by them.
35:37
at times at points where it really felt like, oh wow, you’re really growing and how like this is our tribe and this is how our tribe does it and this is how you do it and you’re part of our, you know, like, but really recognizing that, that I have to honor more than anything, I have to honor myself.
35:51
And so again, for me, that was the growing edge because I was probably more inclined towards mesh, you know, towards enablement, towards pleasing, towards self abandonment.
36:03
And so I really needed to kind of go on this wayward journey that for me lasted years and years and years.
36:08
It really felt like there was a lot of solitude.
36:10
But what happens when we do that and we can really separate but still know there’s a net, there still know there’s love and some people don’t have that.
36:16
Some people don’t have the love, some people don’t have the net, some people, it’s a romantic partnership.
36:21
Some people, it’s friendships.
36:22
For me, there was, I lost people in every category you can imagine.
36:26
Right.
36:26
But I really still had to honor my path of this is my growing edge.
36:31
I need to be true to myself.
36:32
I need to honor what I know.
36:33
I need to discover who I am.
36:35
That is, that’s the most important thing for me.
36:38
It’s more important than maintaining this connection or nurturing it.
36:42
And as, as, as I go, I’ll learn more.
36:45
Number one, sometimes the environment reflects back to you.
36:48
Hey, you’re not welcome here anymore.
36:49
Hey, there’s maybe there’s nothing.
36:51
Sometimes it’s it’s not being welcome.
36:53
Sometimes it’s that there, it’s just not relevant anymore, right?
36:56
And that’s a mutual decision.
36:58
Sometimes it comes from one direction but not the other.
37:00
Sometimes it comes from this direction but not, you know, the other, but it’s really just learning to listen and notice where once you’ve gone on that path and you’ve honored yourself, you know, as far as you’ve gone, what remains and what, maybe there’s relationships that are, you know, still on the periphery, but they’re not kind of cen central relationships any longer for a long time.
37:22
For me, there was a lot of solitude, right?
37:23
I kind of wasn’t interested in romantic partnerships.
37:26
I wasn’t even involved in them for many years of that.
37:29
because I was just really kind of on this path to discover myself and then meeting I think sometimes the fear is if I let go of this person, whether it’s a partner or family or friendship or what if I let go of them?
37:42
Well, then what will I have?
37:44
And so we cling.
37:45
Right.
37:46
And which is a form of settling even if we know.
37:48
And so the, the resistance in us can come up.
37:50
Right.
37:50
Of like, oh, ok.
37:51
Well, I don’t wanna be without, right.
37:53
I don’t want to be too lonely.
37:54
I don’t want to be, you know, not partnered.
37:56
Oh, well, what would happen again?
37:57
That uncertainty can be terrifying for us when I know all too well.
38:01
Right.
38:02
Yeah.
38:02
And still honoring the self.
38:04
Like I think it’s the path that we have to take.
38:06
If this again is your my particular brand of wounding, which I tend to attract people who, you know, probably have a similar brand of wounding need to really go on this journey.
38:16
Right?
38:16
And so that’s the way that it looked for me.
38:18
And sometimes that meant that people again, like fell away and there was again, no hard feelings but just, wow, we’re on different frequencies, we vibrate differently the way we operate in this world.
38:29
It’s, you know, all the love to you and we’re not coherent and sometimes there is a gruesome death to those relationships, right?
38:37
And sometimes there is just knowing and trusting that if I do this and I’m really true to myself, I can’t not magnetize and attract people who are at this place that I’m going.
38:49
Right?
38:49
And so there will be more connections, there will be more relationships, right?
38:52
You have not met all the people you will ever met in your lifetime at this moment.
38:56
Right?
38:57
There are beautiful things to come.
38:58
So it’s really trust and having faith, right?
39:01
Which is the spiritual, it’s not just the spirituality in you, it’s really a faith in something more divine that again, we are energy beings, you know, having this experience and we can’t not magnetize if, if this is what we become well, then there’s always going to be a match for us, right?
39:18
Whatever that is, whether it’s a friendship, partnership, so many forms that that can come in and so you will not be alone, right?
39:26
So I, I never really felt lonely on that path and I was also really blessed because so many of the people who might have been back there but cheering me on, you know, they’re still there and the the, you know, don’t completely understand the world sometimes that I live in or the way that I work.
39:41
But, you know, they celebrate me and root for me and I feel their support.
39:45
And so it’s just really noting like what categories you can in, right?
39:49
And how you can sort that and really you don’t have to let go of any of it, right?
39:53
Even if we’ve grown and evolved, like there still is a beautiful history and meaning that’s valuable there.
40:00
And frankly, even if, if you think about that in my life, I am just having this other thought about that.
40:05
It’s really beautiful because those are people like, who were there beforehand that I’m speaking of like before the journey.
40:12
So they really have known all of me and there’s something really sacred in that, right?
40:16
And something special and like, ok, well, it’s not just this version of me that, you know, but really, you’ve been here for all of it, you kind of, you saw the, the evolution and that’s a special relationship too.
40:28
So I hope that no, 100% and something that I think about and talk about lies and for years has been like, whatever is meant to flow with you.
40:37
Well, you know, like it is, it is so true, you know, you do have those relationships that I’ve seen your entire evolution and they’re like, I’m still rooting for you, even though I don’t understand, I can still love you from, love you in the way that I can, you know.
40:51
And then there’s also the people that you end up letting go or there, there’s a, there’s a people that you end up just like, really connecting on a whole different level.
40:59
And I think the older that I get and I think the older that we get is like, really opening up the door for all those tips and different types of relationships and knowing that they can look differently, feel different and support you differently.
41:10
And that’s totally ok.
41:11
Something that you said so much, which I’ve been thinking about this a lot with like Valentine’s Day and stuff like that is like the amount of love that we can have for ourselves.
41:20
Like, once you really step into this, like, I’m doing this for me, I’m, I’m honoring me.
41:26
There’s this like I trust me like there, if you can tap into that and then amount of love for yourself, it is one of the greatest loves.
41:36
I feel like if we can love our, I feel like the one of the greatest loves is the love that we give to ourselves.
41:41
Yes, I think in romantic partnership and love that you have other people is beautiful.
41:45
But imagine if you gave that to yourself times 10, every single time that you made these decisions, which you talked about so beautifully and what you just said, oh, thank you.
41:55
Well, it’s true, right?
41:57
And I think if we really master that this again, this relationship itself, if we really master that relationship with self, then man again, like who we become and how we can attract that even more profound kind of exemplary, right?
42:15
Like exalted connection is, I mean, it’s profound, right?
42:20
I noticed that with so many people, certainly I have been and you know, blessed enough to experience that now in my romantic life.
42:28
But I feel it with clients.
42:30
I feel it.
42:30
It’s just like you, man, you are like manifesting these kindred soul mate relationships.
42:38
Yeah.
42:39
I mean, it just again, it makes life feel so worthwhile to be that deeply connected, that deeply in love.
42:47
It’s a whole another level of love that before I started all this, I would have never even known it was possible.
42:52
Yeah, I hear you.
42:53
I believe that.
42:54
And when I go back to the versions of me that did not know how to love me because you always hear like you got to love yourself and you’re like, what the fuck does that mean?
43:01
You know, you’ll think in some ways you’re like, I am loving, I do, I love myself but I, but I don’t but I do but I don’t, you know, there’s like this weird, like I think I love myself but I really don’t like there’s no way to really define it.
43:12
And I think it’s always when you get on this path of learning how to love yourself to what you said, like the relationships that come from a place like I chose this because I love me is, is out of this world, you know, and also a life, like opportunities, business, whatever the way that you create life and you come from that place of like I chose this because I love me.
43:34
It feels like fireworks, it feels like magic.
43:38
Sometimes it feels like like spiritual woo woo you know, all the things that they talk and be like, wait, how is this, this death possible?
43:45
And it is, it’s so different than from when you come from a place of, like, oh, I’m loving you because I want to be loved.
43:51
It’s different.
43:51
It’s totally different.
43:52
Yeah.
43:52
You really have to go through the path though to, to learn and, and experience and just, you know, it’s, I’m so grateful I did.
44:01
I’m so grateful I did because it’s just next level.
44:03
Yeah, I would love to learn before we end up wrapping things up here.
44:07
I would love to know what kinds of healing modalities are outside of the Western medicine, Western psychology container, right?
44:14
Like I think your practice is so beautiful because you are bringing in that something that’s so necessary.
44:19
I think about this, not with just like Western medicine, but I mean, Western medicine in general, like even with like health and medical, like I think just having a beautiful blend of the spiritual holistic self with the Western is just exactly what our world really means.
44:34
And you’re doing that.
44:35
What are some healing modalities that you use if your clients that are not necessarily quote unquote Western psychology that you’ve brought to your practice?
44:44
Yeah.
44:44
Good question.
44:45
I probably will answer it.
44:46
Answer it in an unconventional way.
44:48
I mean, I’ve done lots of trainings, many of which are not even on my website, right?
44:52
I just kind of like stop listing them because really, I was hungry when I started this process to just, just, you know, sample everything that I could.
45:03
Right.
45:03
I wanted to do trainings in this and, you know, eastern ancient practices, just all kinds of that again, I could list or, you know, you could go look at my website.
45:11
There’s plenty that aren’t even on there because I just wanted to consume so much of it.
45:15
So I did and I think we take pieces of the consciousness of all of those from us, right?
45:20
And we leave again, we might metabolize and regurgitate some of them that aren’t like, oh yeah, that was like math for me.
45:26
But I really think how I integrate the holistic practice or the spiritual self or the ancient practices is the way that my intuition and medicine runs through me.
45:37
So again, there’s all these parts and I could, I never pull on one modality.
45:40
I guess that I trained in, that’s Eastern or Western frankly, unless somebody consciously says, hey, could we do this?
45:47
Which very seldom happens, right?
45:49
It’s like, I kind of just, it’s like this, you know, conglomeration of all of those that live inside of me.
45:55
And really what I’m pulling from that makes that’s most vital.
45:59
And I think the way that I show up with my clients, it’s the most authentic is when I’m just myself, frankly, I’m pulling from my life experience, right?
46:06
It’s never hard to, to talk about any con, you know, you could ask me anything and we could just flow with it all because really, I’m not pulling it from like, OK, well, let me think, how did this practitioner teach us how to do that?
46:17
And then there’s this linear way in which you have to approach.
46:19
And I just think we separate from our magic a little bit.
46:22
At least I do because I really, you know, am in this flow.
46:25
So when my intuition can come through me and I can use that as medicine when I’m sitting with somebody that’s more powerful than anything I’ve ever learned.
46:33
But it’s ancient, right?
46:34
I mean, it’s Eastern.
46:35
It is, you know, kind of this ephemeral esoteric realm that I’m pulling from that I can’t really point to and nobody ever truly trained me on it.
46:44
But that’s actually what makes like the people that resonate with me.
46:47
That’s I think what they come for because lots of people have psychology degrees, lots of people, you know, there’s lots of therapists out there, there’s lots of even the healers out there.
46:56
I think what makes somebody a really impeccable healer.
46:58
And this is, you know, I might not be for everybody but I think what makes somebody a really impeccable, you know, container holder is the energy that runs through them and how is it and how true is it and how authentic it and for me and I wasn’t always, you know, magical at this.
47:14
Right when I started because I definitely leaned more on kind of this western crutch when I started my practice, which was over a decade ago.
47:21
But I’ve just gotten better at, better at being true to myself.
47:24
And when I show up I don’t prepare for any meeting that I’m ever in, I just show up and just blow.
47:30
And so meant to come through and again, if my energy of that energy resonates with somebody, then they’ll know it, they’ll feel it and they’ll trust it, it will feel good.
47:41
Right?
47:41
I think that’s so much of being held in a container is really listening to.
47:45
Who does it feel good to leverage that energy?
47:47
Who reflects the energy to you that you really want to feel and be in that you are striving for?
47:53
How can they create a container so that you can feel more of that so that you can leap more into that realm.
47:58
And so that might not be a, you know, conventional answer because there are lots of things I study and so many that are really valuable and beautiful.
48:06
And I am amazed by people that just want to work in that way.
48:09
But to me, I just feel like I just, I just, they’re all living in there somewhere in my psyche, somewhere in my, you know, subconscious and I, I pull from them if I need to, but really, I just, you know, show up as me, I think that answer is so beautiful for someone that would work with you or even someone that is like a, a coach or practitioner.
48:27
I know a lot of coaches in practice, just listen to those podcasts and this sense of like trusting your magic, like how you show up is the exact what is meant to show up is so important.
48:38
And I learned that too as a coach when I was coaching a lot was like, I was learning, consuming everything you said.
48:44
It’s like, well, how can I just show up in the best way to serve?
48:46
And it’s like, really comes down to like the container that you create and it sounds like you create such a beautiful container.
48:51
But then also for clients like to find that to search for that and to be like, ok, what container meets me in the way that I want to be met or in a way that I surprisingly didn’t know that I needed and lean into those too because sometimes like the magic that you’re bringing to the table is exactly what a human means.
49:06
And I think we can even take that to every day in our lives.
49:09
Like, ok, I’m in this space.
49:11
What is here for me?
49:12
What is available to me and how can I receive in this moment and listen to those little nudges that you’re talking to, talking about clients.
49:19
What kinds of clients do you work with?
49:22
And how can someone connect with you, find you reach you.
49:26
, do you, do you offer virtual or is only in person?
49:29
Would love to hear a little bit more about your business and how you’re serving them.
49:33
Yeah, I work with people all over the world.
49:35
I do have an office here in Seattle that I still go to one day a week because some people just, you know, love the in person experience.
49:42
But I work virtually and really with people all over the world, I wanna work with people who want to work with me, right?
49:47
And so I tend to work with kind of gifted people, people who are entrepreneurs, you know, business owners, executives.
49:57
I tend to work with people who are really like, very expressed in their life.
50:02
But they’re just looking to optimize that even more and have this more kind of authentic or juicy experience in some area of their life that they’re not feeling fulfilled.
50:11
And so they would come to me, I also work with a lot of people in the western medical profession, psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, a therapist, people like that who are curious and see value in working in this way.
50:26
But they really like need some support to tap into their intuition and to really listen how to be healers.
50:33
So there that, that makes up a lot but honestly gifted people, like people who really want to live a consciously could be a, you know, stay at home mom.
50:40
Like, I don’t care.
50:42
I have such amazing.
50:44
I mean, I, like, it doesn’t matter what your challenge is, I’ll work with anybody again if it resonates and you can benefit from this because I do work in a more conscious.
50:53
I don’t work in a very traditional, like, you know, so many people will come to me if they didn’t do find me on psychology today or something like that.
50:59
And they’re like, oh, you’re not, I’ve never had therapies, I’ve never had a therapy experience like this.
51:04
And I’m like, yeah, it’s really not gonna be like, if that’s what you’re looking for, this is probably not for you, right?
51:09
So it’s just very, very different from that because again, I want really to expand people into their most conscious, authentic self.
51:18
And so how if you want to optimize those are the people that I tend to work with, and beautiful.
51:24
Like I said, I love my clients, I just, I meet with them and it makes me as happy to meet with them as hopefully, you know, any value that I’m adding to their life, right?
51:34
I really want to feel that deep soul connection when I’m working with somebody that you get to know them and they are, you know, like, like you’d be friends with them, you just adore who they are as souls and as people.
51:44
And so I’m fortunate at this juncture, it wasn’t always that way but I’m fortunate at this juncture in my practice that I’ve really gotten to that magnetic place where I think that I, you know, just attract and if it resonates, you know, with people, then I think again, listen to that.
51:57
That’s, that’s what I’m all about is listening to that energy.
52:00
So, so, yeah, I work virtually with people on the phone a lot.
52:03
You know, this zoom is so normal and not sure what else.
52:08
Name of my practice is shrink bigger.
52:09
So you can look up and there’s a lot of free stuff on there too.
52:13
Just like this one, I do podcasts and things with people.
52:15
I like want to give everyone resource free resources that they could just listen and taste and have access to other people too.
52:21
So you can go on to my website and just, you know, feel around and notice, you know, if it resonates or not or find lovely people like you that are also going to be listed on there, right?
52:32
That we’ve chatted and, and I think are lovely and I want to recommend to other people as well.
52:37
Thank you so much.
52:38
I mean, I really think what you’re doing is so special.
52:40
You know, someone that has personally been in the coaching space has personally dealt with spirituality and always like thought about therapist.
52:46
I think it’s just such a beautiful blend what you’re offering because it’s, yeah, you know, it’s really special and the fact that you two have a psychology background and just spirituality is just, I don’t know, to me, I’m like, yes, we need that in order to be our fullest expression, you know, be able to step into our fullest expressed selves, to be able to feel alive, like truly connected, right?
53:06
This like soul divined connection to like this is me.
53:10
This is my purpose.
53:11
This is how I get to live life.
53:12
Like there’s something so profound in that deep connection.
53:17
I keep using deep connection because that’s truly what it is.
53:20
It’s like almost like the thing that plugs us into our wall to be alive and on like on purpose, like fire, on purpose, basically living this life.
53:28
So I’m so grateful for you being here today.
53:32
And thank you so much for reaching out because I knew and you know, this is the best thing that happened, you know, attracting the right people that are supposed to be on this podcast because everything that you spoke about was so perfect for anyone that’s listening to this.
53:44
And I just so appreciate you.
53:46
So thank you.
53:47
Thank you so much for having me.
53:48
It’s been a pleasure.
53:49
You’re so welcome.
